Punta Descartes is a popular nesting ground for multiple species of sea turtles. Since 2016, ETC has taken on the responsibility of caring for these nests through daily night patrols, relocation of eggs to safer beaches, and the overseeing of hatching events to ensure all baby sea turtles safely make it to the water to begin their life.

Your sponsorship and donation will go directly toward supporting ETC conservationists in their care of these nests, ensuring that these baby sea turtles are given the best chance of survival possible.
When you adopt a nest, you will be given an official certificate that highlights your role as a sea turtle conservationist. In addition to the certificate, ETC will contact you personally with updates about your nest, including your nest’s birthday, sea turtle species, number of babies, and photos and videos.
