Are you a college student seeking an environmental internship or in need of a research project? Consider joining ETC’s team as an official research and education intern!
Since its founding in 2016, ETC has proudly supported many college students from around the globe and across many diverse disciplines. As one of our interns, you will learn how to:
- Participate in on-going community-based research
- Conduct field work, including in-water surveys of marine populations
- Lead environmental education and outreach programs
Through our internship, ETC will set you up to stay with one of our amazing host families, where you will be provided lodging, meals, transportation, and an unforgettable community experience. Please note that this is not a volunteer opportunity, and as an intern you will be responsible for contributing to our research and conservation efforts.
See what past interns have to say about their experience with ETC!

“
Working with ETC was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Not only did I gain hands-on experience with marine field research, but I also got to be a part of one of the most loving, passionate communities in the world. I started off as an undergraduate intern back in 2019, and later returned in 2024 to complete my Master’s thesis with them. I still keep in touch with the team and I have loved seeing how much they have grown and contributed to sea turtle and marine conservation as a whole. ETC really is an experience like no other.
